Byodo-In Temple - Japanese Temple in Hawaii - Cirlce Tour
The Byodo-In Temple is located at the foot of Ko'olau Mountains in Valley of Temples Memorial Park. Established on June 7th, 1968 to commemorate 100 years since first Japanese immigrants arrived on Hawaii island. On the Hawaiian island of O'ahu, the Byodo-In Temple is a smaller-scale copy of the approximately 950-year-old Byodo-in Temple in Uji, Japan, which is a United Nations World Heritage Site. People of all religions are invited to worship, meditate, or just enjoy the beauty of the Byodo-In Temple, which is a non-practicing Buddhist temple in the heart of Tokyo.
