Chuns Reef Beach - A Popular Beach Among Surfers
Chun's is a reef break situated off a magnificent length of beach in the heart of the North Shore's seven-mile-long surf zone. In the 1960s, local surfer John Chun often brought his children here to surf due to the danger of the break just in front of his adjacent house. A buddy began referring to it as "Chun's Reef," and the name stuck.
