Kahanamoku Beach: The connected twin of Waikiki Beach

Waikiki Beach is well-known across the globe, and due to its length of two miles (3.2 kilometers), it is divided into various parts. Kahanamoku Beach is located on the western edge. It is situated just across from the Hilton Hawaiian Village and the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. The beach is named after Duke Paoa Kahanamoku (1890–1968), perhaps the most well-known and respected Hawaiian surfer.
