Waialae Beach Park Honolulu Hawaii
Wai'alae Beach Park is a beautiful, serene spot for weddings. This beach has been one of the more popular places in Oahu because it's located right next to and behind The Kahala Hotel & Resort.
The beach is quiet and sheltered by a reef close offshore, making the surf perfect for youngsters. The beach, on the other hand, is covered with limestone and coral, making walking difficult and unpleasant, and water shoes are advised both in the water and on the beach. This also makes it tough to construct sandcastles or play with beach toys, as well as locate a comfortable spot to lie down on your beach blanket. The trees that border the narrow beach provide shade.
Smooth, soft sand runs the length of the fairly sized beach and into the sea, creating a relaxing environment. This section of the beach is ideal for adventurous toddlers. Shallow and quiet water characterizes the water here. Small fish and other marine animals may be seen swimming along the shoreline. There is some shade in the western part of the beach, although it is not much.
Waialae Beach Park Amenities
There is a beautiful and big grassy park area with picnic tables and shaded places to hang out in that is quite well maintained. It also includes a large parking lot at least throughout the week), restrooms with changing facilities inside, showers, and a drinking fountain, among other amenities. There are no dining choices other from those provided by the resort which may be very excellent but is also extremely costly. As a result, this is a good list of amenities.
The beach is a popular spot for locals as well as visitors who come to enjoy the weather and spend time with family and friends. Although the crowds are much fewer and you're more likely to have your own little piece of nature all to yourself, it can get busy at the weekends. If the parking lot is full, you may be able to find parking along the side of the road or on any of the nearby side streets.
