Sunset Beach Park Oahu In Summer & Winter Season
Sunset Beach is the typical North Shore paradise, with two miles of beautiful white sand that stretches 200-300 feet wide. Whether you're here to surf or just to watch the sunset over the ocean, Sunset Beach is a must-see in Oahu.
The water is very quiet throughout the summer months, making Sunset Beach excellent for swimming, snorkeling, and just resting on the beach. Furthermore, you may peek into a few tidal pools to see some of nature's most brilliant marvels. During summer time, Sunset Beach is an ideal spot for any activities that requires massive waves such as surfing or body-boarding.
Keep a keen eye on the little children, since Sunset Beach is renowned for its rough waves, particularly during the winter. Summer months are less harsh on the sea. Every day from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., a lifeguard is on duty at Sunset Beach to ensure your safety.
Sunset Beach, as the name suggests, is one of the finest locations in Hawaii to watch the sunset. The beach is very big, and it is not nearly as crowded as one would expect after night. It's a really lovely image.
How to get to Sunset Beach Park
Sunset Beach is situated right beyond Waimea Bay, just outside of Haleiwa Town. Keep in mind that if you reach Turtle Bay Resort, you've gone a little too far.
