In terms of free Waikiki entertainment, the Royal Hawaiian Band gives a free performance at the park's bandstand on many Sunday afternoons. The park also hosts many events every year, including cultural fairs and Lei Day (and other such festivals). With a 5K walk around Kapiolani Park, participants have helped the Life Foundation raise over $2.5 million dollars!
