Dolphin Quest history
In the early 1980s, two marine mammal veterinarians set out to develop a viable alternative to the conventional oceanarium habitat and "dolphin shows" that were prevalent at the time. They envisioned natural dolphin habitats that were both clean and stimulating, where visitors could engage in inspirational and instructive dolphin interactions while also contributing to the protection of wild dolphins.
Since its first location opened in 1988, Dolphin Quest has been widely recognized as a leader when it comes to establishing large natural habitats for dolphins and achieving successful breeding programs. They are always looking out towards developing new interactive dolphin activities that combine fun with learning while still promoting environmental stewardship!
